Womanizer makes their product in many different shapes and sizes. And while I still consider them relatively high-end, the Starlet does fall in a more affordable price range. So while the technology used is still ‘Pleasure-air’, the question now is, of course, whether it’s still as good as the more expensive products. While the other question is: when nearly all toy-makers make vibrators with some sort of pleasure air technology, should you invest in a Womanizer one?
Packaging and Description
The Starlet 3 comes delivered in a carton box. The unboxing experience wasn’t as grand as I’ve seen with other Womanizer products. I think this is because it’s one of their lower-end products. But you know what? It doesn’t really matter, does it? Most people don’t pay attention to the packaging anyway. They take the vibrator out and have their fun with it. The other thing I miss is the storage pouch. This is also not a dealbreaker. Maybe you can use one from an older/other vibrators you had or order or make one yourself. I just always love the extra detail of it in a set.
The toy itself is pretty light and small. It weighs only 78 grams. It’s roughly 12 centimetres long and 3,5 centimetres wide. This is relevant because one of the early models I tested was at least double this width. The Starlet 3’s height with the suction mouth included is close to 6 centimetres, and when I see that of the early model (W500), that was also a lot higher.
The product can be charged magnetically and is IPX 7 waterproof, both features I love. A small detail I like a lot, too, is the fact that Womanizer adds its logo to its charging cable. When you own multiple toys, this is a lifesaver.
The body of the vibrator is made of ABS plastic, while the suction mouth is made of silicone. The toy has six intensity levels. The two buttons (+ and -) are pretty straightforward and function well. The toy is easy to control. The sound is quite rumbly and not whisper quiet.
The suction mouth is detachable and replaceable should you want or need that. The product I received from Womanizer only included one, but other sets might consist of a second one in a different size. Whichever you got in your kit, the suction mouths are always available to order online or via your local sex shop.
A big plus is the five years warranty Womanizer gives. It shows me Womanizer has trust in their product, which means you’ll have the pleasure of this toy for at least five years.
Using the Starlet 3, it was easy to get in the mood. I preferred the stronger suction modes, and it took me some manoeuvring to get the vibrator at the right spot, but when it hit the mark, I reached a delicious orgasm. The upsides I described earlier: comfortable size, lightweight and two simple buttons made it a very comfortable experience.
The Womanizer Starlet 3 Air Clitoral Stimulator is a fun, pocket-sized product. It’s affordable, lightweight and easy to control. The Starlet 3 is an easy way to reach an intense orgasm.
The downsides I mentioned are easy to ignore and dismiss. In a way, this simple packaging is more environmentally friendly than the elaborate ones I enjoy so much. And, something I omitted so far: the vibrator is a product of vegan-friendly production.
The Starlet 3 is a lightweight in the Womanizer product line, but it holds the same technology and will bring you loads of pleasure. More features aren’t always necessary!
