The white leather wrist cuffs come delivered in a sturdy black box. Be careful when you open the box, as the cuffs are resting on a soft bed of shredded paper. This always looks extra fun and even luxurious in a way. Inside the box are the two cuffs, a leather strip with metal clips to attach them together and two tags. One tag displays their logo while the other says ‘Handcrafted Leather Bondage, Play Safely with Japan Quality.’Â
The cuffs are 6 centimetres wide and about half a centimetre thick. The cuff is 27 centimetres long, while the strap is 35,5 centimetres long. Its adjustable range is 13 to 26,5 centimetres. Cow leather is the only material used on both sides. The stitching is neatly done, and, as always with Liebe Seele, it feels like a high-quality product. The cuff has one D-ring. The two buckles included with the leather strip are of fantastic quality as well. They feel heavy and have a neat, quick-release option. The leather is quite flexible from the beginning, which makes them easy to use from the first time.

When I opened the box and inspected the wrist cuffs, the D-ring seemed a bit rusty. I think this extra stood out because of the crispy white leather underneath where it had left some markings. My husband believes the metal-plating process didn’t work well, which affected the adhesion of the metal to the ring. When I contacted Liebe Seele, they were very concerned and immediately sent me a second pair. Unfortunately, this pair, too, suffered from the same problem.
This does not affect the use of the product at all. Few people will even notice it. I only saw it because it’s my job to look closely and because I expect the highest quality from this company. I think it was just a bad badge of items, and I’m confident Liebe Seele will handle any complaints seriously.
