Sometimes you see a product, and it triggers all your ‘want-want!’ instincts. Mine definitely went off when I saw the new Holographic products by Cosmo Bondage. They’re so shiny and pretty! In Dutch, we would say I felt drawn to them like a magpie. So I was more than happy when Betty’s Toy Box asked me to review one of the available products in this series. I chose the flogger since owning multiple toys for sensation play is always good. Some hit differently than others, so it’s good to have a wide range. My only hope was that it wouldn’t disappoint. Let’s see how it turned out.
Packaging and Description
Okay, I’m going to skip the description of the box it came in for a second. Because when I pulled it out of said box, it was just: wow! It really is as shiny and electrifying as the pictures were.
Sorry for the ‘Grease vibes,’ but it really blew me away. And no matter how you turn the product, the colours are forever changing. It’s mesmerizing to look at. I think this set is perfect for going to sex parties with lots of coloured lights or perhaps on stage for a bondage show. But anyway, let’s get back to the official description section.
The flogger comes delivered in a carton box with an equally shiny picture and metallic details on the front side of the box. Inside the box, the flogger is wrapped in plastic packaging. The flogger is made of vinyl, which is a form of PVC. Since this is a purely synthetic material, my guess is that the product is vegan-friendly as well. The toy’s handle is 14 centimetres, the loop is 8 centimetres, and the strands are 24 centimetres long. The strands are roughly half a centimetre wide. The edges are pretty sharp. The entire product is lightweight. It does have a light smell to it the first couple of days. To unentangle the strands, it’s advisable to take the flogger out of the box and let it hang for a couple of days, preferably somewhere you can see it. It would be a waste to hide a beautiful product like this 😉 Each strand is holographic on one side, and the other shows white vinyl material.
My Experience
Once again, I was too taken in by the looks of this product to realize beforehand how much it would hurt. Because of its synthetic material, the blows hit sharply. Of course, this doesn’t detract from its purpose. And for use once in a while, it’s a perfect flogger. It gives a different sensation from most other toys we have, so it’s suitable for that goal. So pain-wise, it’s not my favourite, but I guess that’s just part of the game 🙂
