The Nova 2 comes delivered in a carton box. I always love how well-packaged WeVibe’s products are; they’re really a joy to unpack. You will first find the toy itself, and beneath it, there’s a sample package of Pjur lubricant, two small manuals, the charging cable and a pouch. The cable isn’t separately wrapped in plastic, which I love. After all, neither is the vibrator, so why would you? The bag, too, is made of cotton instead of cheaper polyester fabric, which feels more durable. I love those details about this product.
The vibrator is made of body-safe silicone. This feels pleasant to touch. Both the shaft and the small arm on top are flexible, so you can adjust it well to your body. You need to apply some pressure to the shaft to bend it at the hinge to the right angle. The small arm is more flexible.
The Nova is 22 centimetres long and about 3 centimetres in width at its widest point. It’s IPX7 waterproof, and even though the vibrations are deep and rumbly, it’s close to whisper quiet.
The Nova 2 can also connect via Bluetooth to the WeConnect app, available in the Google PlayStore and the Apple Appstore. You can control the toy with the app and design your own vibration patterns. It’s also possible to connect with a partner via the internet when both parties use the app.
My Experience
I was definitely curious about testing the Nova. I’ve tried plenty of rabbit vibrators in my life, but with the curves of this product, I honestly didn’t think it could work. But you know what?
