The Womanizer Wave comes delivered in a thin, long box, deep-green coloured. It’s wrapped and packaged just like any Womanizer product. I always love unpacking their toys since it’s so well-designed, and everything is in the right place. Inside the box are the showerhead, a package with the manual, a business card and a compliance and safety information booklet. The only thing to be mindful of is the small sieve seal which you need to install on the bottom of the shower head. It’s a small but necessary part, so don’t lose it.
Installing the Womanizer Hans Grohe Wave is a breeze if you ever changed a shower head. I actually did apologize to the showerhead I was using, which is also a Hans Grohe one, just like the rest of my set. I felt kinda bad for my old shower head, since it was still working splendidly. The set came with the house when we moved in, and I’ve never had any problems with it. It’s a high-quality set which always works well.
You control the Wave with one button, which cycles through the three settings: ‘Pleasure Whirl,’ ‘Pleasure Jet’, and ‘Powder Rain.’ Switching through the different settings is easy since you only need to push one large button. It’s also possible to adjust the intensity of the stream by using the slider.
While using the product, I had to intensify the pressure of my water flow, as the standard setting is relatively low, to save water. Let’s segway into my experience.
My Experience
When I first used this product, I didn’t set out to make it an official test. I was just taking a shower and cleaning myself, also down below. I actually thought: well, if this is it, then this product is quite a bust. But then…Then the Pleasure Jet hit the magic spot.
I think I hit my clitoris, and it truly was nearly accidental. But when I hit the magic spot, I didn’t want to stop it. What amazes me most is how the water jet comes out of the Grohe shower head like it’s pulsating. The sensation is similar to using a high-end Womanizer sex toy, whether a Pleasure Air Technology or a regular vibrator. I don’t know how they build that inside this showerhead, but it does its job well.
The Powder Rain function feels very luxurious like you’re in a 1000 Euro shower or in a wellness spa. The droplets are very fine. My husband loves this setting. The only downside is that the stream is so thin the outer droplets feel nearly cold. It’s now summer, so I don’t mind it at the moment, but I’ll likely dislike that in the winter.
The Pleasure Whirl setting is just as interesting as the Pleasure Jet. It’s a broader stream of water and perfect for getting in the mood. This setting, too, is one of those I would not have thought possible or ever being within my reach.
Conclusion
The Wave by Womanizer and Hans Grohe was a surprise for me in many ways. I did not think some changes in the shower head would make such a difference. I love how these two brands joined forces and developed this product. My most important conclusion is: yes, the Womanizer Wave is different from other shower heads from the standard ones. And yes, the product is worth it. As a reviewer, I own many sex toys, but the ones I like best are often out of reach when I need them or out of battery power. So now, with this Wave shower head installed, I can use it every day. And it never runs out of batteries since it uses none. It only runs on water power.
I love the sensations this toy brought me. It’s suitable for any woman, beginner or experienced, since it’s easy to change modes and intensity.
