I love bright colours, and, as a consequence, I love bright colour lights. The first time my mother bought Christmas lights for our tree in bright pink, blue, purple and green, was very special to me. This was probably in the early 1990s when such products were rare and expensive.
Sometimes I can’t believe how cheap lights such as these are now. Especially LED lighting has become available to the public at low cost. One such product is this LED Strip. My husband and I bought similar strips before. Usually, they entailed soldering and programming and other complicated things. Could this model be easier to handle?
Packaging and Description
The product arrived two days after ordering. It comes in a nice cardboard box with everything neatly packaged. All components are tightly packed in their separate plastic and/or antistatic bags. The set contains two five-meter LED strips, a charger, a control unit, a remote control and loose components if you need a shorter length of the LED Strip.
I was especially interested if I could get this product to work myself, without the help of my electrician husband.
I connected the control unit to the Strip, plugged in the charger and…there was light! The process was flawless. The remote worked instantly too. I spend longer than I should have, pressing the buttons and enjoying the view. The flickering lights are just mesmerising.
Something I didn’t find out, but my husband did, was the button on the control unit. Instead of the remote control, that button too allows you to cycle through the colours and programs.
What’s also pretty cool is that the set responds to sound too. The lights will adapt to any sounds, making it a perfect kit for a party environment.
I was honestly surprised by the quality of this JUOYOU LED Strip. It really is plug-and-play, and the options are outstanding. If you want a solid colour, this strip will work. If you want dancing lights to accompany your party, this strip will work too. All that remains for me is to find the perfect place to hang them. But at least I can connect them myself.
