Unboxing Video
Introduction
Hey everyone! If you’ve been following my reviews, you know I’m a big fan of pjur lubricants. Ever since I tried their regular silicone-based lube, I’ve been hooked—these are all made in Germany, and the quality is just on another level compared to other brands. I always keep a bottle on hand because nothing else glides quite like it. Today, I’m diving into two specific variants: med SOFT for vaginal dryness and BACK DOOR for anal play. Let’s unbox and break them down.
Packaging and Description

Starting with pjur med SOFT. It comes in this sleek, no-frills box that’s got technical info translated into 17 languages. According to the packaging, it’s specially designed to help with vaginal dryness, making intercourse smoother and more enjoyable. It’s a silicone-based lube with jojoba oil as a key ingredient, which gives it that nourishing feel. Plus, it’s totally safe to use with latex condoms, which is a must for me.

In terms of texture, it’s super thin and glidy.

Now, onto pjur BACK DOOR, the moisturizing version tailored for intense anal play. (No surprises there with the name!) pjur offers a wide range of anal lubricants, including the analyse me! line for comfortable play and various Relaxing or Regenerating options. But this specific water-based lubricant stands out with its higher hyaluron concentration. This formula amps up the moisture, providing exceptional, long-lasting lubrication that rivals silicone. It is compatible with latex condoms and all kinds of sex toys, and like Med Soft, it is colorless and odorless.

The consistency is a bit thicker and more “blobby” than med SOFT, which I think makes it perfect for what it’s designed for: it stays put without dripping everywhere.
My Experience

I used the med SOFT as test with a simple vibrator. I always tend to forget to use lube and instead I warm myself up and use my natural lubrication. But, using this lube really made a difference. I’m not new to sex toys, so I could have seen this coming, but I hardly ever use lube for masturbation. Using the lube made the usage of the toy much easier so that I could focus on pleasure. When using silicone-based lube with toys, always pay attention as they can be damaged.
I used the BACK DOOR lube together with my husband. We often play with anal intercourse, either with a toy, a finger or full sexual intercourse. Compared to the pjur silicone lube we often use, the BACK DOOR stayed thicker the whole way through, creating no friction whatsoever, making it a pleasurable experience for the both of us. The BACK DOOR lube stays where it has to be and functions way better than other water-based lubricants.
Conclusion

If you’re dealing with dryness or looking for reliable anal lube, I’d definitely recommend them. Just like my previous experience with pjur silicone lubricant, these too work perfectly, even though the BACK DOOR lube is water-based. I’m gonna keep them close by on my nightstand to have them available close by when I need them. They retain their ‘glidiness’ better than cheaper housebrands I have used in the past. pjur lubes are medical devices and that they are therefore safer than cheaper household brands which don’t have this medical certification. So if you’re looking for a good lubricant, definitely consider one of these. They are worth it.
